DAY 1 PARIS This half-day tour gives you a glimpse of the city. You will see all of the major monuments including the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées, the Opéra, Notre-Dame (with interior visit, if open), Montparnasse, Napoléon’s Tomb, the Arch of Triumph and place de la Concorde. Your guide will give you a live commentary of the sites and will answer any questions you have about Paris . Dinner and Accommodation: HOTEL DE VENDÔME in Paris  clear DAY 2 REIMS After a drive of around 2 hours, Reims, an Art and History City, opens up to you with its four UNESCO World Heritage sites which should not be missed. The Cathedrale but also the Palais du Tau and the Abbey Museum Saint-Remi will be visited. We suggest for lunch: RESTAURANT LA VIGNERAIE in Reims In the afternoon, visit the Champagne vineyards and have a tour in the wine cellars before tasting Champagne in Epernay. Enjoy yourself and take advantage of your time to purchase some gifts for your friends and family. Dinner and accommodation: CHATEAU LES CRAYERES in Reims.  clear DAY 3 To get more into Paris This third day will make you discover Paris more in details with a visit of Sacré Coeur before a friendly cruise along the Seine where you will appreciate the bridges of Paris. We suggest for lunch: LUNCH CRUISE on the Seine The visit of the Musée du Louvre will be your occupation for the afternoon. This enormous building was rebuilt in the mid-16th century for use as a royal palace, began its career as a public museum in 1793. The night will be the moment to walk down the Champs Elysees. Dinner and Accommodation: HOTEL DE VENDÔME in Paris  clear DAY 4 Beautiful Normandy, Giverny & Honfleur During the morning you will appreciate Giverny, a charmant village spread out along a hillside not far from Vernon. A name now famous because it welcomed the great artist Claude Monet We suggest for Lunch: LES JARDINS DE GIVERNY in Giverny The old docks surrounded by picturesque narrow houses. The lieutenancy and Saint Stephen’s Church This is with no doubt catches your eye during your visit of Honfleur. Dinner and accommodation: FERME SAINT SIMÉON in Honfleur This beautifully restored farm was the favourite retreat of XIXth century painters such as Monet or Courbet who were enchanted by the ethereal light reflected in its estuary.  clear DAY 5 A bit of History The morning will be spend in the Caen War Memorial, a museum dedicated to peace in one of the main city touched by the war, it is the only museum in the world to give an overall view of history from 1918 to present day. We suggest for lunch: RESTAURANT LE PRESSOIR The afternoon can be spend along the sea on the 8 km of coast better known as Omaha Beach. Today more than a million visitors come each year to the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer and pay their respects to the 9,387 graves and to the Memorial Garden. Dinner and accommodation: CHATEAU D'AUDRIEU  clear DAY 6 Mont Saint-Michel The full day will be spend around this monument considered as the « Wonder of the Western World ». The Mont Saint-Michel forms a tower in the heart of an immense bay invaded by the highest tides in Europe. Its history dates back to the 8th century. We suggest for lunch: LE MOULIN DE JEAN in Cuves The afternoon can be the moment to appreciate the coast with the sea moving sometimes as fast as a horse that gallops. Dinner and accommodation: AUBERGE DE LA MERE POULARD in Le Mont Saint Michel  clear DAY 7 Versailles After this week between Champagne and Normandy, it is the moment to discover Versailles. This is a prosperous, leafy suburb and home to France's most magnificent Chateau. After the palace tour, head for the gardens complete with marble fountains, formal gardens and the Grand Canal which was built for Louis XIV's boating parties.
